Preply is looking for English tutors to coach and tutor students online to help them achieve their language learning goals. As a Tutor with Preply, you’ll use the Preply Classroom to conduct video lessons with your students. You’ll also have access to Preply’s curriculum materials, ongoing professional development through regular webinars and the Preply Tutor Academy, and an integrative calendar to keep track of your upcoming lessons.

You can set your own schedule and work as many or as few hours as you want, from anywhere. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with students from all over the world – there are hundreds of thousands of students from every country in the world already learning on Preply, with more signing up every day.

What you’ll do as a Preply tutor:

• Teach English online to Preply students from all over the world
• Set your schedule and your price
• Create your own lesson plans or use Preply’s curriculum for your lessons with your students
• Use Preply’s integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students
• Access professional development through Preply’s Tutor Academy and regular webinars
• Change the lives of students all over the world!

What you need to become an Online English Tutor with Preply:

• Proficiency in English
• Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online
• Experience using and/or providing comprehensive materials and resources to meet students’ needs
• A high-speed internet connection and familiarity with online video platforms
• Be energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful
• Preferred but not required: A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching

Materials needed to apply on the Preply platform:

• A short description about yourself 
• Your best headshot
• A description of your strengths as a tutor
• A short video introduction to let students get to know you (you can record this on the Preply platform during the application process)
• A digital copy of your certifications and/or diploma to be uploaded
• Your schedule and availability

Once registered, on the Preply platform,  Preply team will evaluate your profile and activate it within 3 working days.
