Omni Interactions is a 100% remote company looking for US-based customer service representatives to support Omni's Fortune 500 clients.  

This is a: work-from-home position with the opportunity to work full or part-time during hours convenient to your schedule!

Omni customer service representatives are called, Gig Brand Ambassadors (GBAs) and provide contact center services (taking inbound phone calls, answering chat messages, and/ or  responding to emails) for Omni clients.

This position is a 1099 independent contractor role and GBAs providing services on the Omni platform control when and how much they work. GBAs set their own schedules by self-scheduling their availability in 30 minute or 1 hour time blocks. The more hours worked the more money earned per hour.

Alaska, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do: 

  • Work from home or any quiet place with a closed door
  • Set your schedule, choosing when and how often you want to work
  • Respond to chats, emails, and calls from customers
  • Quickly help customers with good solutions
  • Solve problems in a creative way
  • Document details of calls and customer interactions in the appropriate system
  • Participate in and successfully complete ‘Certification’ and ‘Earn & Learn’ periods for before assuming customer service responsibilities for a client

Job Requirements

What you need to become a Gig Brand Ambassador:

  • Successfully complete a 30-minute assessment that will evaluate typing speed, computer proficiency, customer service aptitude, and work habits
  • Ability to type and talk at the same time
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems, programs and screens at the same time
  • Great communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to type 20 WPM or more
  • Solid computer skills, including typing and navigation
  • Comfortable empathizing and remaining patience with difficult callers

Home office requirements:

  • High-speed internet connection 
  • 10 Mbps download speed / 5 Mbps upload speed 
  • Windows PC running Windows 10 or 11
  • Some contracts do accept MACs 
  • Quiet workspace with a closed door

Note: Accepted applicants must pass a background check before starting work on a client project. There is a small fee for the background check (currently $25).
